Update existing deployments with new updates

Warning

It is recommended that you set up a Azure DevOps project and link it to a Github branch to merge in any changes after initial deployment thus keeping any changes after post deployment!!

Warning

Before undertaking this step ensure you have a backup of the current dataflow

• Dataflows can be exported from the service/workspace by clicking on the ellipses and hitting export.

Warning

If the dataflows have been modified post deployment for any specific client requirements, you will need to bring these changes through after completing the below steps.

Updating the models and reports with new code/features after post deployment

Warning

It is recommended that you set up a Azure DevOps project and link it to a Github branch to merge in any changes after initial deployment, thus retaining the clients specific requirements that were made during/post deployment!

Updating the KPIs in the models

• Updating the model and some of the KPIs will require the use of Tabular Editor
