Update the Currency Symbol in Standard Power BI Reports

By default, the standard Power BI reports display currency values with a dollar sign ($). To display the base currency symbol configured in Altus instead, you only need to update the data model. No changes to the individual reports are required.

Data Model Updates

  1. Download the .pbit template files:

  2. Convert the .pbit file to a .pbix file by following the instructions on the Deployment page. Then open the data model and select Transform data to open the Power Query Editor.
