Quick Start

If you need to complete a data migration from Project Online to Altus and you don't know where to start, use this page as a guide to the recommended reading order.

5 Altus POL Migration SharePoint App If the customer doesn't consent to the Altus Azure application (required for the export of data), they can create their own using these steps. The generated ClientID is required by the scripts.

Before you start

  • Confirm that the customer has agreed which projects, resources, and lists are in scope.
  • Confirm a target Altus environment is available and that the user running the scripts has the required permissions in both Project Online and Altus (see Prerequisites).
  • Download and unblock the Altus Project Online Migration Toolkit (a .zip file referenced from the migration process page).
